President Museveni has Monday afternoon ordered that wearing hooded attire for bodaboda riders be banned.
The President said was in reaction to the many killings linked to hooded goons who have killed many people while covering up their faces.
The President also ordered that all motor bike riders using helmets must have big numbers printed on them and must be reflective in the night for easy identification.
Speaking at the last funeral rites of the Late Arua Municipality MP Ibrahim Abiriga who was gruesomely murdered last Friday in Kawanda together with his body guard and brother Said Kongo as he returned home.
At the burial, President Museveni said security forces had remained laxed on the issue of hooded bodaboda riding goons who continued to terrorise the nation hiding under the cover of these hoods.
Museveni said they would hunt down the killers of Abiriga and that the NRM was not only good at ushering in prosperity, but would ensure that the citizenry is safe.
