Bullets, Teargas Fired as Rowdy Mourners Attempt to Block Police from Accessing Abiriga’s Home

Mourners in Arua Municipality were treated to a shocking spectacle on Sunday evening, when police fired live bullets and teargas to disperse a section of the youth who attempted to block security from accessing Late Ibrahim Abiriga’s residence.

The gathering which turned unruly on Arua streets had intercepted an ambulance carrying Abiriga’s body and forcefully pulled out the casket and carried it as they marched on the streets.
