Brinah Nalule, 22, a student of YMCA Buwambo Campus was kidnapped from Old Taxi Park last Saturday as she headed to school.
According to Abubaker Kabugo, Nalule’s relative, her kidnappers pretended to be taxi operators.
She was later found dead and her body dumped in the bush.
The abductors would later call her family using her cell phone to demand for shs 10 million ransom, they decreased the amount to shs 5 million when family failed to raise the cash. She was then killed.
The police Flying Squad however found a hard time looking for her because the kidnappers kept on using her own phone to call the relatives demanding for ransom.
Nalule’s body was on Monday night discovered dumped in a bush in Kabawo zone, Mutundwe in Rubaga division.
Kampala Metropolitan area police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire confirmed the death of Nalule but said police was working around the clock to apprehend the suspects.
