Museveni Goes on Vacation

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has taken a brief sabbatical at his upcountry home in Rwakitura, Western Uganda.

Museveni who recently been traversing the country, meeting supporters, presiding over different projects and conducting political rallies has Wednesday left for Kiryandongo  from where he will connect to his home to rest.

According to his media handlers, Museveni will resume duty over the weekend and is slated to address his supporters in Ibanda and Bugiri District respectively.

Museveni on April 6, 2018, was in Ibanda and opened Muko Technical School and later addressed a rally at St Ann Secondary School, Kihani, grounds.

When asked about the President’s short leave, his press secretary Mr. Don Wanyama said his boss is in Western Uganda on duty and therefore finds it improper to describe it as ‘a vacation.’

Speculation has it that Museveni could utilize this short time to finalise a cabinet reshuffle.
