Incarcerated FDC radical youth activist Sam Mugumya who served as Dr. Kizza Besigye’s right hand man has prophesied the ruling regime is in its final days despite the leaders are living in denial.
Adding it could be the reason why regime protagonists are becoming more dangerous while exercising power but are politically weakening.
Mugumya, in a nine minute audio he recorded from Ndolo military detention in Kinshansha, DRC where he has been incarcerated for now four years urges all democracy seeking Ugandans rise against President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s administration likening it to the French Revolution.
The audio has since gone viral of social media platforms.
“We continue to be held in military detention without trial. We must all move on. Uganda is at a painful and deciding moment in history,” Mugumya said.
He adds: “Uganda is struggling under the yoke of despotism presided over by the NRM regime. Regime has become more dangerous but even more vulnerable. “Though the system is negotiating its final end, the tyrant is in denial.”
Mugumya assured the opposition fanatics that he is hardened by prison and nothing can deviate him from the fighting for change.
“Museveni cannot imagine himself out of power,” said that governing has become Museveni’s way of life that he is blind to contradictions of corruption and brutal military rule.
“He has destroyed state institutions. We need to arrest the situation immediately.”
He added: “We must give Napoleon his waterloo and defeat the despot. We must unite and make our suffering the glue that keeps us together.”
According to Mugumya, it’s not about differences of opinions or who takes credit for who getting rid of the despot.
He predicts no persuasion and diplomatic niceties will remove Museveni from power.
“We must storm the Bastille and realise the revolutionary flame.”
Ex Besigye’s aide tells Uganda a tyranny is never fondled out of power, it is forced out. It is never kissed out of power, it is kicked out.
He continues… “Dictators are never smiled out of power, they are smoked out. They are never convinced to relinquish power, they are compelled out of power.”
