Wanted ‘Bijambiya Terrorist’ Killed in Robbery Attempt

One of two Prisoners who escaped from court in Masaka at the start of last month has been lynched by residents.

Muhammad Kiddawalime, police say he was killed by residents of Mukoko Village, in Bukulula, Kalungu district on Monday night as he attempted to rob.

Police’s Chief Political Commissar, AIGP Asan Kasingye confirmed the development, revealing that the deceased was together with Musa Galiwango, with whom they escaped from Court on March 1st.

Panga recovered

Kasingye says Galiwango fled the scene, adding, “We are pursuing him.”

Kiddawalime and Galiwango have been on run after taking advantage of a security lapse at the Masaka Court.

They were among criminals who terrorised the area with pangas commonly known as bijambiya.
