A British tourist Mukesh Shukla collapsed and died on Saturday as he climbed a hill in Kabale, South Western Uganda.
Police said Mukesk, 60, together with other three colleagues; Tejal Raval, Nishma Raval and Kalvinder Barad arrived at Bunyonyi Resort along Lake Bunyonyi on Friday April 6, 2018.
Kigezi regional police spokesman Elly Maate, who confirmed the death, said that the four were on Saturday touring Butanda pygmy settlement area in Butanda sub-county, Ndorwa West County in Kabale district.
As they climbed the hill, Mukesh’s friends realised he had collapsed. They rushed him to Kabale Hospital but died on the way.
Police is working closely with British Embassy in Kampala on how to transport the body to the UK.
