An Italian drug kingpin has frozen money estimated to be shs 16 billion (4.5m dollars) belonging to a Ugandan socialite Brian Kirumira alias Brian White.
For long the public has been questioning the source of Brian White’s wealth as he has lately dominated headlines with his spending spree.
The new money magnet splashes money to mostly youth claiming that he wants to eliminate unemployment which has long been a challenge to the regime.
Brian White tells his fans to support the NRM government.
What has also baffled many is how Brian White has been collaborating with security agencies particularly police while he promotes his charity organisation.
This has prompted a section of the public to think that the regime is behind Brian White’s ‘obscene money.’
But this website has exclusively established that unlike earlier reports that Mr Kirumira inherited cash from his Italian foster father, he has covertly dealt in drugs with an Italian national.
We have further learnt that the socialite has closely worked with a high-ranking government official.
A source told us that Kirumira was introduced to this kingpin who agreed to clear his money because it was in bulky.
“The first batch arrived last year, and the initial plan was after this government cleared the money he agreed with Brian White that he supports the youth through championing anti-poverty campaigns,” a source said.
The money, Brian White was receiving it from an Italian drug lord.
We are told Brian White was introduced to this drug kingpin by some Ugandans after he agreed to supply him with drugs (raw marijuana).
However, this drug lord whose names we are yet to ascertain decided to freeze the money on learning that Brain White conned him.
“The Italian drug lord got to know he was being conned by Brian White after the latter fell out with the middle men,” said a source.
Earlier, the plan was if Brian White gets the money he would share equally with those who took him to the drug lord.
“But he became greedy and took all the money prompting his pals to unleash the secret”
A source said that in very few days to come, Ugandans shouldn’t be surprised if Brian White cuts his expenditure.
