Late Susan Magara’s cousin sister identified as Maureen Kobusingye on Wednesday night died after she was knocked by a speeding car.
Maureen, an engineer and a surveyor of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) was working at Kyaliwajala branch.
The accident happened at Oryx Petrol Station in Naalya, when the driver of a Benz, number UAQ 442V rammed into a boda boda Maureen was using as she returned home.
The driver fled and abandoned the vehicle at the accident scene.
She has left a behind a young daughter.
Her death comes barely a month after her cousin sister Susan Magara was kidnapped as she left her work place and brutally murdered.
Magara’s killers would later be arrested from South Africa and extradited to Uganda to face murder charges.
They are currently being held at Military Intelligence head offices in Mbuya.
