On Wednesday afternoon authorities at Entebbe International Airport learnt of a tragic incident in which a crew member of The Emirates Flight- EK730 fell off the plane through the emergency door.
Reports indicate that she was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital to receive urgent medical attention having sustained grave injuries.
Whereas many authorities are still ignorant on what could have caused this tragedy, a section of the local media reported that this was a suicide attempt because the hostess personally opened the emergency exit and jump out, luckily enough the plan was stationed preparing to load travellers for Dubai.
Other reports indicate that before she fell off she was involved in a verbal exchange with colleagues, suspecting that she could have been shoved off in a brawl.
Police confirmed the incident though with scanty details.
Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) also issued a statement on Wednesday evening clarifying that this lady opened the emergency door and jumped out.
However, CAA said the matter is being investigated.

Trumpetnews has obtained the passport of this lady which indicates that she hails from Bulgaria and bears a name of Elena Vassileva.
Elena, according to the details on her passport was born on 10th April 1971.
She obtained the passport on October 16, 2014 and was due to expire next year same date and month.
It remains unknown whether Elena, 47, is still alive.
