Bulgarian Hostess who Fell off Emirates Plane is Dead

Elena Vassileva, 47, a Bulgarian national that worked as a hostess succumbed to multiple injuries sustained after jumping out of Emirates Flight – EK 730 at Entebbe airport on Wednesday.

She was rushed to Our Lady of Consolata Kisubi Hospital by Civil Aviation Authority Ambulance after the tragic incident.

Whereas authorities at the airport and police hadn’t identified the deceased, this website landed on her passport bearing her name and details when she was born.

Kisubi hospital spokesperson Francis Sekandi on Thursday confirmed to the media that Elena, a worker of Fly Emirates was dead by the time the ambulance arrived at the hospital.

Mr Francis Sekandi, the Public Relations Officer at Our Lady of Consolata, Kisubi Hospital confirmed the death of the crew member of Emirates Flight – EK 730 who fell out of the plane on Wednesday sustaining life threatening injuries.

“Yes, we received her but she was already dead. We confirmed her death and she was taken away by the CAA ambulance that brought her,” he said.

He declined to divulge more details.

The flight was preparing to load passengers for Dubai when Elana fell off through the emergency exit.

Police, Wednesday, said it was investigating the matter.

But an eyewitness said Elena had a argument with fellow staff moments before she jumped out.

Whether it was an accident, suicide or intended, it remains unknown.
