President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has Thursday made a shocking revelation, revealing how Uganda Police under the Leadership of sacked IGP Gen Kale Kayihura had been infiltrated by ‘been weevil’.
The Commander in Chief (CiC) of UPDF was presiding over Women’s Day Celebrations in Mityana, when he said that Kayihura’s leadership couldn’t curb criminality because of incompetence.
Observers say Museveni lashed at police to justify why he sacked his once trusted General, Kayihura.
He narrated how Kayihura had failed to track down criminals who committed heinous crimes including assassinations of prominent Ugandans.
With the appointment of new leadership, Museveni is optimistic police will regain its lost glory.
