Police has shot dead two assailants who attempted to behead a business woman as she drove home in a traffic jam in Bweyogerere, a Kampala suburb.
Eyewitness account indicates that the two men armed with an SMG riffle, attacked the woman whom we are yet to indentify and tried to execute her but luckily enough her driver manoeuvred in the traffic jam to save his boss’ life.
The incident happened on Thursday afternoon near Ex Kiira Disvion Mayor Mamerito Mugerwa’s hotel.
The assailants tried fleeing on a bodaboda but police swung in action and put them out of action.
The lady was rushed to the nearest hospital for medical attention.
