Kitatta Breaks Down After Army Court Denied Him Bail

Boda Boda 2010 patron Abudallah Kitatta wept in Court Martial on Tuesday after his bail application was rejected by Court chairman Lt Gen Andrew Gutti.

Earlier, Kitatta and his co-accused had rejected to take plea saying that the army court doesn’t have jurisdiction to try them.

However, Kitatta and 12 other members in a shift turn of events accepted to be charged by the General Court Martial in Makindye.

Prosecution alleges that the group were found in unlawful possession of an SMG rifle and a pistol contrary to Section 3 and section 2 of the fire arms act when they were arrested at Vine Tea hotel in Wakaliga, Rubaga division.
