Susan Magara’s Killers Received Shs 720m Ransom

John Fitzerland Magara, father Susan Magara, whose body was Tuesday discovered near Entebbe Express Highway paid her captors $200000 ransom- approximately shs 720 million.

This website has established, through the deceased’s relatives that the kidnappers had earlier demanded $1m but the dad negotiated and finally settled for $200000.

Susan, a graduate of Uganda Martyrs University went missing two weeks ago as she left her work place in Lungujja in Rubaga, Kampala.

She was an administrator of the family business Bwendero Diary Farm Limited.

The information we further obtained indicates that while delivering the ransom, Magara who collaborated with police placed an informer in the car to be able to track the hideout where her daughter could have been  held, “shockingly he received a phone call warning him that the informer would be assassinated,” said a family member who asked to remain unnamed.

This, according to family exhibited that the kidnap was well orchestrated with insiders or the kidnappers collaborated with some police authorities who kept feeding them with information.

“How again would they find out that those delivering ransom had an operative.”

No police authority has commented on the matter. Publicist Emilian Kayima was yet to pick our repeated calls by press time.

The kidnappers through a phone call told Magara that if he collaborates, his daughter would be released next Thursday.

“They told him to pick the fingers of the girl and he begged them and sent the money only to find the girl dead,” a relative wondered.

The intent of this murder remains unknown but those close to family linked the kidnap to business rivalry.

We have learnt that Susan was the eldest daughter of Magara’s first wife who died sometime back.

“They knew that taking away his daughter they would have touched his soft spot,” added family friend.

However, the family couldn’t confirm this development.  This website wouldn’t verify this information independently.

We will continue to bring you more updates.
