Two other Europeans, a German and a Belgian have died in Uganda bringing the number of dead foreigners two five in less than a month.
A statement released Monday morning by the police spokesman Emilian Kayima identified the German as Hans Jurgen Vallant, 64 and the Belgian as Eric Yvomr, 54.
The sudden deaths occurred last Friday and Monday morning.
“Postmortem reports indicate that the Germany died of heart attack [on February 23]. He was first admitted at Case Hospital for two days but later transferred to Nsambya Hospital where he was pronounced dead,” Kayima said in a statement.
A Belgian committed suicide, according to Joseline Mupfasoni, a Burundian National and a resident of Muyenga B at Vermigo apartment
The incident follows a series of investigations into the deaths of three other foreigners- an American Tourist, a Finnish arms dealers and a Swedish.
Police report, IGP Kale Kayihura said it indicated the trio died of drug overdose.
