State Minister for Youth Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi has been kicked out of local Express Football Club as chairperson.
A local online publication swiftsportsug reported Friday that she was shown exit to usher in her replacement Hassan Bulwadda.
“Close sources reveal that a section of club faithfuls from the fans clique self-proclaimed as Red Army have been behind the efforts of forcing Nakiwala out of the embattled 6-time league champions citing inadequacies in club administration,” swiftsportsug further reported.
Her successor will run the embattled Football Club for six months before he is confirmed.
“Nakiwala came into Express leadership on 1st June 2016 replacing Francis Ntalazi but has been at regular intervals castigated for the poor handling of club issues.”
The announcement comes against a poor seasonal performance displayed by the once football giant, three days earlier it was defeated by Bright Stars (2-1) pushing the team to eleventh position with 14 points accrued from 18 matches.
