Pictures: Police breaks into Kirumira’s house, arrests him amid heavy gunfire

Police fired volleys of live bullets on Thursday at Bulenga in Wakiso District the home of errant police officer Muhammad Kirumira to disperse rowdy crowd.

Gun-wielding officer from the flying squad unit had in the morning of Thursday raided Kirumira’s home with an intention of arresting him following salvo exposing sordid activities executed by the top shots in the Force.

 

He later announced his resignation citing victimization by his superiors.

Whereas he locked himself inside his house, police used a machine to cut off doors and subsequently cage him.

Residents protests the actions of men in uniform and turned rowdy before they were dispersed by heavy gun shots fired in the air.
