In a show of kind heartedness and humility, President Museveni has this afternoon made a contribution of 30 million shillings to facilitate the quick recovery and pay part of hospitalised artist Moze Radio’s medical bills.
Last week, city philanthropist and budding ‘tycoon’ Bryan White Kirumira came to Moze’s aid with a 25 m cash contribution.
Moze Radio who is the lead crooner of top selling musical duo Radio and Weasel of the Goodlyf crew was rushed to hospital after a near-fatal fall that was attributed to a bar tussle in Entebbe.
The artist who has since undergone two operations remains on life support at Case Clinic as his friends, family and crew source for money to contain the skyrocketing daily bills.
Thanking the President and heaping praise on him as the “Father of the Nation”, events organiser Balaam Barugahare of Balaam Marketing took to his Facebook page to show appreciation for the President’s gesture.
This though isn’t the first time the President has come out to help a Ugandan artiste. Bebe Cool who was accidentally shot by an armed Police Man after a clash of egos at Centenary Park in 2014 received 300 Million shillings from the President to enable him travel to the US for corrective surgery.
