Three Top Editors at Daily Monitor sacked In Massive Staff Reshuffle

As wider implementations of the restructuring process at local newspaper Daily Monitor continue, Three editors have reportedly been sacked.

The affected are Ceasar Mwine-Abangira the Deputy Sports Editor, William Lubwama a Business Editor and his deputy, Edina Kyokunzire.

David Mafabi the newspaper’s senior reporter based in Mbale and also doubled as the Bureau Chief was shown the exit.

The media house last Thursday issued a statement indicating that it is set to consolidate departments and operations as the company struggles to sail in the murky waters of the online revolution.

The entire sales docket has been dissolved and Daniel Kalinaki named as news editor, Moses Ssesanga, former Monitor Manager for Human Resources who was elevated to General Manager for Human Resources and Sam Barata, was appointed General Manager Sales and Advertising.
