Kifeesi leaders confess Besigye, Lukwago pay them to commit crimes in Kampala

Politics is indeed a dirty game. Opposition politicians are known for their penchant to pin ruling government on all the dirt happening in the system.

Leading opposition leaders Dr. Kizza Besigye and Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago are in a tight spot.

Kifeesi gang leaders who on Sunday admitted to committing a number of crimes against the populace have confessed and pinned both Besigye and Lukwago as their main funders.

Appearing on Local television station, the criminal gang said on a number of occasions, they received money from Besigye to help facilitate them in looting shops in downtown Kampala, escalate protests and also commit other heinous crimes to place government in bad light.

The Gang leaders told reporters of this TV station that they fell out with these State opponents after coming out publicly to expose their cover, the facilitators and expressing readiness to collaborate with the regime to end criminality in the country particularly Kampala.

“On several occasions Lukwago would pay us to cast police in bad light,” one of the criminals said.

Their confession comes after Lukwago launched an attack on Kifeesi gang last Thursday while appearing on NBS political talkshow.

“How come Lukwago had never talked ill about us? Why now? Because we have decided to repent and become law abiding citizens,” another criminal gang leader added.

They warned Lukwago, Besigye and Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine never do dare to flock their residences to hire them to execute dirty work.

“The moment they come to the ghetto to look for us to work for them. They will live to remember that day.”

Kampala and other towns have in the recent past been plagued by a wave of crime that has been blamed on police for failing to protect the citizens.
