It is now confirmed that the charred body remains of a the body recovered in Kajjansi is of the Case Clinic Accountant who went missing last Tuesday.
The Accountant, Francis Ekulangar, 49, went missing as he headed to the bank with cash estimated to be over shs 15 million.
Initially, the late’s close family members including his mother and kids had said the discovered overly burnt body was not for their relative.
Police then took DNA samples of two of Ekalungar’s kids to match them with the discovered body.
On Friday afternoon police confirmed the DNA results matched those of missing Ekulangar.
Confirming the development, Case Clinic proprietor Dr. Sebale said they were saddened with the loss of their colleague who he described as “incorruptible”.
Ekulangur’s murder comes on the heels of other unresolved murders that have rocked Uganda over the years.
