Killed Case Clinic accountant was burnt with petrol, firewood

On January 2, Case Clinic Management in Kampala reported a case of a missing person at Wandegeya police station.

Francis Ekalugar aged 49, an accountant of the facility had reportedly disappeared while he went to bank over fifteen million shillings in the city centre.

Case Clinic management, police and his family members launched massive search, and on Wednesday (January 3) evening a gruesome discovery of burned body was made in Kajansi town, about 10 kilometres from the city centre.

The body was burnt beyond recognition.

According to police detectives investigating the grisly murder, Ekalugar’s killers used petrol and firewood to burn him to death.

“We found petrol leads and firewood at the crime scene,” a detective told this website.

The motive of his execution and the killers remain unknown.

TrumpetNews established that the assasins made away with money and the car he was driving- a Toyota Premio UAW 899U.

Other reports indicate that the car was found at the crime scene and that is how relatives were able to identify his dead body.

This website has further ascertained that apart from Ekalugar’s mother, many of the deceased’s family members believe it’s him after viewing the body.

Police took DNA samples obatained and will also take some from his children to see if both match.

A relative added that the DNA tests process will take two weeks.
