Horror as Case Clinic boss is murdered, body burnt beyond recognition

Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) has confirmed Case Clinic accountant Francis Ekalugar, 49, was murdered and his body burned.

According to KMP spokesman Luke Owoyesigire, Ekalugar was reported missing at Wandegeya police station on January 2 by Case Clinic Management.

“Ekalugar Francis an accountant at Case Clinic was reported missing on the 02/01/2018 at Wandegeya police station after his managers did not recieve any response from him when he was allegedly sent to bank over 15 million shillings,” Oweyesigire told TrumpetNews on Thursday morning.

His body would later be discovered in Kajansi Township a few kilometres from the city centre where Ekalugar worked.

“That evening police took on the search for him and today a body was discovered in Kanjansi burnt beyond recorgnition,”  Owoyesigire added.

Police notified family members who identified the burnt body as his while others failed.

Oweyesigire said police authorities have since picked samples which have been taken to GAL, “we are waiting on a DNA test to confirm the identity of the  body which  has been forwaded to mulago for postmortem.”

His killers are still at large as police has commenced investigations into the matter.

Missing Person

Earlier information of Ekalugar’s mysterious disappearance was circulated on social media platform by Case Clinic Management;

The Management of Case Hospital announces the disappearance of its staff member, Mr. Francis Ekalungar, aged 49 years who has been missing since yesterday 2nd January 2018 .

Mr. Ekalungar was driving a silver Toyota Premio new model Reg. UAW 899U, on his way to the city centre.
