Panic as bomb is found near Minister Kibuule’s home

Experts from Police Bomb Squad on Wednesday afternoon removed a powerful explosive close to Minister Ronald Kibuule’s residence in Mukono District.

The bomb was discovered by a fuel station worker at Igar Petrol Station fence.

This fuel stations is metres away from Kibuule’s home in Lwanyonyi village, Nama Sub-County.

Kibuule’s home is along Jinja Highway.

“The fuel station on the Kampala Jinja Highway is said to be owned by a Somali national,” reports a local website Chimpreports.

Adding, the workers immediately called in Mukono police who also sought help from the Bomb Squad in Kampala.

The bomb experts took hours to remove this explosive which was hidden in the wooden box.

“Mukono DPC Seguya Rogers and fuel station management refused to give a comment about the incident,” reports the website.
