Muhangi shifts Comedy Store to Diners’ rival The 400

The weekly comedy entertainment show, Comedy Store hosted by Alex Muhangi, has shifted to The 400 Bar in Bukoto  stone throw away from Diners Lounge its previous home.

For over one and a half years, Muhangi had the show at Diners before falling out with  the owners.

Comedy Store debut is set for Thursday at The 400 and Muhangi promised the comedy enthusiasts of thrilling performances.

The maiden event will feature some of the top comedians in the land like Amooti Omubalanguzi, Madrat and Chicco, MC Mariachi, Snake and Zolo, Afande Kele Kele, Kobusheshe, Ssenga Nantume, Tamale Mirundi among others.

The event will also feature sexy singer Winnie Nwagi.

Celebrated deejays Apeman and Crim will entertain revellers with non stop music.

In a press conference held this afternoon at The 400, Alex Muhangi said: “The decision to leave our previous venue was driven by numerous factors most of which were hinged on the fact that the business interests on both sides couldn’t be aligned.”

It has also been revealed that Diners management had backtracked on honoring most of the obligations initially agreed upon which exhibited a lack of good will.

Comedy Store has evolved and made significant strides as a brand.

“We strongly believe that it will thrive on regardless of such hiccups. In line with the brand’s long term plans, it is imperative that we explore avenues that will improve the quality of our service to the clientele because we hold them in high esteem,” Muhangi further revealed.

He added: “Thursday will still be our showcase day, with the same great entertainment that you have always known Comedy Store for.

And while we launch our new home at 400, we are staging yet another star studded night.”

Located along the same Bukoto – Kisaasi road, 400 Bar offers a comfortable ambience, quality services and even spacious environment for our audience.

The bar has ample parking space with tight security guaranteed.
