Senior Presidential Advisor on media affairs Tamale Mirundi has sympathized with his long time friend Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago over the brutality unleashed unto him by security operatives last week.

Lukwago has since lodged a complaint at Uganda Human Rights Commission (UHRC) contesting the manner in which he was arrested by police from his residence.

Earlier Lukwago had told media that he suspected his private parts could have been injured in the process of his arrest.

Mirundi, appearing on his weekly talkshow on NBSTV on Tuesday threw a spanner in the works saying the City Mayor should slaughter a duck and invite friends for a merry-making if he doesn’t become impotent.

Mirundi cited a precedent where an activist based in UK-London disrupted a meeting which President Museveni had attended and he was arrested by the President’s inner security.

“A month later the man couldn’t function properly,” Mirundi said.

So my friend Lukwago must have been hurt, the way he was crying is evident enough, Mirundi added.

The former Presidential spokesperson said those commandos are highly skilled and know which part of the body sensitive.

It remains unknown if Lukwago has been subjected to a medical examination.
