The resumption of disputable age limit motion has Tuesday suffered another setback with Speaker Rebecca Kadaga adjourning Parliament to Wednesday 2:00pm.
Opposition MPs chanted triumphantly after Kadaga’s pronouncement as they appeared to have defeated tabling of this controversial motion.
After successfully legislating on a number of issues, Kadaga invited movers of the age limit motion to the Hansard prompting errant anti-government lawmakers to become rowdy.
The stampede lasted for a couple of minutes before Kadaga ajourned.
Opposition MPs immediately told the media that they carried the day by failing tabling of the bill for the second time.
The battle rages on to Wednesday as tension remains high in the country.
