Micho flees Uganda

Convicted; Micho

Uganda Cranes Coach Micho Milutin Sredojević has quietly flown out of the country, TrumpetNews can authoritatively report.

He left Uganda yesterday (Monday) at around 3pm aboard Ethiopia Airlines. It is highly believed that he joined his family in Ethiopia Capital Addis Ababa.

Before taking his flight, Micho first met FUFA boss Moses Magogo at unidentified location in Kampala to discuss his future as Uganda Cranes Coach.

The meeting came high on heels of romours that shook Uganda’s football fraternity that the Serbian was calling it quits after spending ages without salary.

Micho had promised Ugandan’s that yesterday’s meeting would decide whether he stays as Cranes Coach.

After the meeting he posted an ambiguous statement on his Twitter page which has since caused anxiety among local football fans.

“48hours expired I couldn’t come out with final outcome as promised due to human wish that unfortunate situation is sorted in civilised way,” Micho wrote on Twitter.

His close friend who chauffeured him to Entebbe airport but asked to remain unnamed told this website that he (Micho) said, “I am now a fan of Uganda Cranes.”

The Serbian further wrote wondering why Egypt media outlets are so much interested in his future as Cranes coach, “Wondering why EGYPT media is so interested I will be or not UGcoach. With or without me UG won’t be easy as we made team one ball to decide.”

Unconfirmed reports indicate that Micho is headed for war ravaged Libya.

Serb’s source of frustrations stems from reported arrears from Fufa, although the federation is on record saying they have cleared Micho’s salary and ad-ons.
