Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) youth leader, Moses Byamugisha, has picked forms to vie for president from the party head offices in Najjanankumbi for the position of party president.
“Today our EC Chairperson handed nomination forms for the position of Party President to Byamugisha Moses. Good luck comrade,” the party tweeted.
In a notice, Dan Mugarura Bakaaki, the Chief Electoral Commissioner, informed all party members that nomination for the position of Party President for the year 2017-2022 will take place on the 14th -15th August 2017.
“Party Electoral Commission calls upon members interested in contesting for the position to pick nomination forms from the Party Headquarters Najjanankumbi, starting from the date of this publication,” Mugarura said.
Last week, Party President Mugisha Muntu stepped aside to campaign leaving Alice Alaso in charge until the presidential elections are complete.
