After failing to make it on the list of the presidential candidates in the upcoming election Daine Shima Rwigara has formed Movement People Salvation Movement ,PSM -Itagaza .
At the press conference held today 14th july in Nyamirambo Rwigara accompanied with about ten members of her movement explained that her movement which he founded with the Tadeo Murekyezi was killed last year by suspected government agents is aimed at bringing reforms, handing power back to the people ,accountability and end extrajudicial killings by the RPF government .
The tough talking Rwigara explained that she had put on hold the movement activities to try get bring change through the ballot but only to be denied by the RPF leaning electoral commission.
“The movement has not started to day but rather we started it last year with late Tadeo( Murekezi) but we had put its operation on hold to try to get change through the ballot but since we have been denied the chance but the National Electoral Commission which to me and my team should even change its name to National Fraud Commission we have decided to officially launch our Movement and sanity in this country”
The professional accountant further told journalists that her movement is a peace full and wished all Political parties including RPF members to join him and oust Kagame who has held the country at ransom for many years .
She further explained that she ready to suffer any consequences including jail or even death but at least open eyes and help them overcome fear
Asked about the claims by the NEC that she used another political party’s members and dead peoples signatures . The 35 year old confidently rubbished the claims saying that was the work of RPF agents inside the NEC
“ Those claims that I used some party members are false and the people the claim to have died have different National Identification Numbers from the ones I had,generally that’s the work of the Ruling party as the clearly knew that once on the ballot they couldn’t defeat me” Rwigara explained
Before concluding her address Diane presented some members of taskforce who have been threatened while some them have already been contacted by police to pin her charges of treason.
One of members later told reporters that his brother has been jailed because of his closeness to the Diane campaigning team.
Meanwhile the presidential campaigns have kicked off with the Incumbent Paul Kagame (RPF candidate) holding first rally his birth place Ruhongo and later Nyanza, Green Paty’sFrank Habineza is in Rusiizi district while independent candidate Philipe ImpayIman who is in Nyamata has decided to comb for votes house to house after people refused to turn up for his rally.
