Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has on Tuesday received instruments of office from Speaker Rt Hon Rebecca Kadaga as Kyadondo East MP elect.
Flanked by his wife Barbie Kyagulanyi and a surging sea of his supporters who ascended into the Gallery to witness their MP take oath, Bobi Wine was sworn in at 2pm.
His grand entry into the August House aroused cheers from the MPs who welcomed him in excitement.
After taking oath the Speaker handed over instruments of office and directed him which section independent lawmakers sit.
Bobi Wine will hold celebrations at Kasangati grounds.
