Iganga Woman MP Hon. Kaudha Hailat, 27, has passed on while giving birth.
The Rt. Hon. Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga, made the announcement.
“With deep sorrow I announce the death of Hon. Kaudha Grace Hailat, Woman Member of Parliament, Iganga District. She passed on last night followingcomplications with pregnancy,” Kadaga said.
She will be laid to rest on Sunday, 9th July 2017 in Iganga Municipality.
On behalf of the Parliamentary Commission, the Speaker extended her most sincere condolences to Hon. Kaudha Grace Hailat’s family, the Parliamentary Community, her constituents, relatives and friends.
