D-day: Polling kicks off successfully in Kyadondo East

Bobi Wine casting his vote earlier

Voters of Kyadondo East in Wakiso district have begun casting their vote to elect a new legislator. The process began as early as 8:00am in all the polling stations. Electoral Commission (EC) Spokesman Jotham Taremwa told this website that by 6:00am all the voting materials had been delivered to the constituency.

“Polling underway in Kyadondo East. By 6am all the stations had received their polling materials,” he said. Independent candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has already cast his vote. He said he will return home and but urged his supporters to protect their vote. This website will bring you more updates as events unfold.
