The former Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) managing director Paul Kihika has been arrested on Wednesday evening for allegedly embezzling over shs 3 billion.
Kihika was arrested at 6:00pm and taken to CID headquarters at Kibuli before being transfered to Jinja Raod Police Station where he is currently held.
Police mounted search following his refusal to honour summon to answer allegations that he stole money after he entered in a deal with Airtel broadcast live world cup football games in 2014 but in vain.
On Tuesday Kihika eluded arrest after detectives failed to track him from his two residences in Wakiso.
