Former Ibanda South legislator and Ugandan ambassador to Belgium Deo Rwabita Kajunzire has died.
According to reports, the diplomat died last night in Brussels, Belgium..
Reports further indicate that he has been sick for some time, in and out of hospital treating a yet to be revealed disease.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Margret Kafeero when contacted, told us they were still drafting an official statement.
He was Ibanda South MP until 2001 when he paved for the current lawmaker Eng. John Byabagambi.
Rwabita has served as in a number of ambassadorial positions in Rome in Italy, Cyprus and the European Commission.
The deceased hails from Kyaruhimbi, Nyabuhikye in Ibanda district.
