Pictorial: M7 excites FDC bigwigs

Kitgum Woman Legislator Beatrice Anywar who is a three-time accident survivor on Friday afternoon hosted top politicians in the country at a thanksgiving ceremony at Boma grounds in Kitgum Municipality.

Among the invited guests was President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who was the lead celebrant.

Anywar was celebrating her survival from the last tragic accident that even had her flown to Kampala -Case Clinic for medical attention.

On her recovery, she threw a mega thanksgiving bash where she invited her former colleagues at FDC including Prof. Ogenga Latigo who is the fomer Leader of Opposition (LOP) in the 8th Parliament and Gilbert Oulanyah.

The visibly excited opposition lawmakers took the opportunity at the event to jubilate with Museveni who was seen laughing along.

The bigger surprise of the day was her dress-code. Anywar was dressed in a traditional attire commonly known as Gomesi which had more yellow patterns (official colour of the ruling party) and less blue which is the colour of her former party- FDC.

In recent years it has become norm for politicians to appear in public functions dressed in their party colours.

Col Felix Kulayigye also attended the function

Anywar contested as an independent candidate after being sidelined by FDC in the last general elections.
