All is not well in Drake Lubega’s family. The tycoon who is part of the loaded Kwagalana Group- a union of very rich businessmen lost his daughter over the weekend to iron bar hitmen commonly known as Kifeesi.
The young enterprising Bonita Lubega (RIP) was killed on her way home when iron bar welding hitmen waylaid the boda boda on which she was travelling, clobbering her and leaving her for the dead.
The merciless thugs also made away with her possessions including her hand bag with an unspecified amount of money, mobile phones and other personal items.
The thugs then used her phone to call her immediate family instructing them to pick poor Bonita’s body from Mulago mortuary.
‘These thugs are merciless. They called us telling us to pick our sister’s body from Mulago mortuary after killing her. This is so sad‘ said a family member.
There has been a rise in killings attributed to these lawless goons with the Kifeesi tag.
Residents in Kira division Wakiso district formed a community policing and security committee at the close of last year to counter the endless spate of attacks masterminded by these goons in their locality.
