Heineken Uganda re-ignites UEFA Champions League sponsorship

Heineken Uganda brand ambassadors at a previous Champions League finals

Premium beer brewers Heineken Uganda last evening hosted media to a UEFA Champions League launch party.  The event was the the Fame Lounge where Heineken took the opportunity to unveil their newest brand-Amstel which also supports the Europa League.

Speaking at the launch, Nathan Akandwanaho the National Sales Manager said “We are happy to see the excitement the Heineken brands brings along with the UEFA champions league®. The great support and positive reactions we’ve received from both our customers and consumers encourage us to continue on the path we’ve set out. We’ll continue to deliver on our brand promise to surprise our consumers with world-class events like this UEFA launch this evening.”

 The core focus of Heineken® activation of the sponsorship is to bring fans around the world high quality UEFA Champions League experiences.

The UEFA Champions League is the most prestigious club platform for international football stars and their clubs.

With over 150 million TV viewers watching live coverage of the UEFA Champions League in 220 countries and territories every match week, this premier sporting event has become global and fits perfectly with the Heineken® brand, which is enjoyed in almost every country in the world.

This year HEINEKEN® announced the extension of its sponsorship of the UEFA Champions League for further years.
