Inspector General of Police (IGP) Gen Kale Kayihura has made another sporadic shakeup for the third time after the assassination of his blue eyed boy AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi.

In this reshuffle Kayihura has dropped 6 of his closest aides who worked in his office, took direct assignment and handled sensitive matters.

The affected are; CP Jonathan Barooza who was sent to Human Resource pending course, Immaculate Musimenta to Human Resource pending course, David Sembera  to finance,  Ambrose Rwanyonga has been sent to  Human Resource Administration and Emmanuel Ochamuringa  to Human resource administration pending deployment.

Abraham Sagal from Interpol has replaced Barooza  as Kayihur’s ADC.

This reshuffle comes after a major shakeup that affected regional and district police commanders.

Police spokesman Asan Kasingye confirmed the reshuffle saying the radio message came in yesterday March 29.

He described the shakeup as normal in the Force.

However, a source said that this move is aimed at cleaning police as directed by the President who angrily said that it (police) has been infiltrated by criminal network.

President Museveni said this while eulogizing fallen officer Kaweesi who was assassinated 13 days ago my unknown gunmen.
