In a dramatic twist of events, Navio’s mother, Dr. Maggie Kigozi “assassinated” UPDF Commissar Col. Felix Kulaigye on Sunday evening.
In what Facebook critics deem as the cyber murder of the century, Maggie Kigozi facebook-ly killed the UPDF big shot in the presence of her over 2700 followers. This she did while trying to show empathy to the fallen Uganda Police spokesperson Felix Kaweesi.
The former Uganda Investment Authority chief in the wake of the national tragedy posted on her timeline an update indicating she was morning the loss of Col. Felix Kulayigye instead of the late Police Spokesperson Felix Kaweesi. She even accompanied it with a photo of casket surrounded by mourners.
They say google is your friend but facebook definitely isn’t! Dr. Maggie Kigozi was quick to revise her mistake and take down post but boy doesn’t internet forget!
Dr. Maggie Kigozi has of late been social media savvy especially on Facebook; sharing thoughts, interacting with friends and fans; but this one should get her thinking of hiring a community manager.
We won’t say RIP to the colonel because he’s surely alive, but sure the Doctor and the Colonel will have something to ‘laugh’ about when they meet at common ground.
