Traders at Kitooro, Entebbe are counting huge losses after fire gutted the market at 4:30am torching their merchandise to ashes.
The cause of the fire remains unknown as police have launched investigations.
The inferno left property worth millions of shillings burnt to cinders. The fire that is said to have started destroyed property including tailoring machines and bales of second-hand clothes.
