Uganda National Examination Board has confirmed it will release last year’s Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) and Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) on January 10 and 17th respectively.
Uneb’s secretary Dan Odonga said the marking exercise was completed before the festive season started. He however acknowledged that marking the exams was been challenging since the process started on December 6 last year.
Below is his unedited brief statement
As a department and the board we congratulate you upon entering the new year 2017.
It has been a challenge since we started marking the exams on 6th December 2016.
With our supportive team we have managed to finish marking before the festive season started. And for that sake we are glad to inform you that tha PLE and UCE exams are to be released as early as possible to enable our students get an ample time to prepare for the next level.
NB: PLE will be released on 10th January 2017
UCE will be released on 17th january 2017.
